At the conclusion of this program the participant will be able to:

  1. Explain what breast cancer is;
  2. State some risk factors and available treatments for breast cancer;
  3. Give example(s) of clinical trials that are specific to Hawaiʻi's breast cancer population;
  4. State data on breast cancer incidence and mortality rates in Hawaiʻi; and
  5. Describe some breast cancer research focused on Hawaiʻi's multi-ethnic population.
